The annual summer fete is held at the village hall, with the nearby village playground, and at the Red Lion pub. There are many must-go-to stalls and games to play including Splat-a-Rat, Aunt Sally, Beat-the-Goalie and the coconut shy. There are hotly-contested children's races with rosettes and sweets for prizes. Delicious burgers and teas and cakes keep us all energised. The beer tent is always popular.
It's a great village day out and a popular attraction for visitors. Why not drop in on the day and enjoy a traditional village fete the way they used to be in 1952?
