Village Market
Famous throughout the surrounding villages, Northmoor's village market & cafe is held in the hall from ten in the morning to midday on the third Saturday of the month. Local farmers offer their wonderful beef, pork and lamb. Our many keen gardeners sell seasonal produce grown in their own gardens and allotments. There are tables groaning with tempting home made cakes, bread and preserves and other homemade specialities, and occasional treats like field mushrooms and herbs.
As well as produce there is a regular charity book stall, jewellery and crafts, and plants for your garden.
The village market has become an essential part of the local scene where we chat over a cup of freshly-ground coffee and enjoy a slice of home made cake, making this a social event as much as a shopping opportunity.
You can book your own table, or add your produce to the community table and we will sell it for you.
